Father's Day Stay and Play.
Reception Class will be holding a stay and play for their Dads/Grandads or any special male to your little one on Friday 17th June 1pm - 2pm. We hope you can attend! Please try and find alternative childcare for younger siblings if possible, thank you for your support with this!
Nursery End of Term Events
Good morning, please find below dates of up coming events in nursery. Monday 18th July - Parents book look- Am Parents are welcome to come and look at books from 11.00 am till 11.30 . Pm Parents are welcome from 2.30 till 3.00. School reports will be handed out on this day. Tuesday 19th July - Party day Am party 8.30 -11.30 with only Pre School Leavers in, parents are welcome to join at 11.00 for Graduation celebration. Pm party 12.00-3.00 is for nursery children not going to school. Wednesday 20th July - There will be NO afternoon session this day. Nursery will close at 11.30 for Am session children. Reception Class - Mother's Day Stay and Play
On Friday 8th March at 2pm our Reception class would like to invite either a Mummy, Grandma or a special lady to come and join them to celebrate Mother’s Day. Due to space, please can only one adult attend as we will be holding the celebration in the Reception classroom. We hope you can make it!

Reception Class New Starter Meeting
We would like to say a huge welcome to the families who found out that their little one got a place in our Reception class in September. Whether you are new to the DSJ family or already part of our Pre-School We can't wait to have your little one on their journey with us. We will be in touch shortly with transition information, once everyone has accepted their place. Our transition afternoon is booked for Wednesday 12th June 2024 at 2pm, so please save the date!

Toddler Group
In this week's Toddler Group session we are exploring 'On The Farm'. Come and join in the fun with lots of craft activities and sensory tray exploring in different materials to find the animals.
Toddler Group- Goldilocks and The Three Bears
Come along to our first toddler group session of the year. We are starting off with the story 'Goldilocks and The Three Bears. We will be playing hide and seek trying to find Goldilocks and listen to the story. We have exciting craft activities, painting bears, making bear faces with play dough and role play with the bear and Goldilocks masks. We provide snacks and drinks for the children to socialize and build friendships. So come along and join in with the fun!
Children in Need
Friday 14th November is Children in Need day. This year we are hoping to raise as much as we can for this amazing charity to help disadvantaged children and young people. Friday will be a colourful non-uniform day. We are asking the children to wear bright colours. This could be their favourite colour, brightly coloured spots or a mix of colours like a rainbow. From ribbons in their hair to odd socks the more colourful the better. Any donations however big or small will be welcome and can be brought into class on the day. Thank you for all your donations last Friday, we raised a wonderful £151.34.
Christmas Reading Cafe
We’re getting into the festive spirit with our Christmas Reading Café! Families are invited to join us for an afternoon of cosy stories, simple activities, and a well-earned hot chocolate. We’ll also have a very special visitor… Father Christmas himself will be popping in to share a story with everyone. It’s all happening on Thursday 11 December at 2:30pm in the hall. We’d love to see you there and start the season with a bit of warmth and cheer.
